Manana Resort and Marina

Comfortable bed. Nice decor. Quiet. Lovely deck and view.

Room was very small, as was bathroom. Far from any restaurants on dark country roads.

We loved the location, beautiful marina and water view. We liked sitting on the balcony and having a glass of wine. The room was neat and tidy, and although much much smaller than it appears in pictures, it's quite efficient. The bathroom was clean. The towels were clean, soft, and smelled very good. Although there is no fridge in the room, communal fridges are provided in the lobby, which is nice.

We hated the bed. The mattess was uncomfortable, both of us woke up with hip pain, and we are in our 30s. The main reason that prompted us to give such a low rating is the fact that the bed stank like a locker room. Every time we laid down and air was expelled from the mattress and pillows this nasty, musky smell would come out. We sprayed the pillows with our perfumes so that we could somewhat mask the stench. We didn't like the coffee machine. The keurig in the suite must have been broken, because the coffee it brewed was lukewarm at best. We had to wait to have coffee until we made it to town. Although there is a restaurant on the premises and it looked very cozy, we didn't try it because the reviews were abysmal. We were quite disappointed that we didn't feel confident enough to have dinner there. The water pressure in the shower was at times a drizzle.

Beautiful location. Totally recommend it.

Was a lovely room , with a great view & peaceful location. As we prefer tea & hot water we were provided with a kettle. Bathroom had a good large shower which was excellent.

Bit of noise from the wood mill for a short while.

The restaurant was only open a couple of nights a week. Unfortunately was closed both the nights we were there.
