"Well-located accommodation with helpful staff"

In walking distance to the university, which was important to me. I was starving but arrived too late for restaurants - so the receptionist kindly went out of his way and found some cookies and chocolated that he gave me - much appreciated!

"Stay is good but they double charged me and refused to refund"

The hotel itself is good, location is good, clean room.

They double charged me the hotel fee. Booking.com already charged the fee and they asked me to pay at the counter again. It's ok to make such mistake as I also did not notice the double charging. But once I realized that I called them, sent email to them, message them through booking.com but got no response at all. This is not acceptable and I strong recommend not to stay with them because you may have find yourself in the same situation and it's really hard to get the money back. Update: Ironically I received their mail after I posting this rating, it seems the normal communication channel is not working until they see the negative feedback. They told me that booking.com did not pay them on time. Since I disputed the credit card charge, they think it's all good now. Then ask me to withdraw this comment and rating because "It's not our fault". Wait, it's of couse your fault! 1. You charged me on the counter assuming that I did not pay through booking.com. You set up the booking payment method to be charged by booking instead of paying on the counter, why didn't you know that and charge me? 2. You did not find the over charge after my payment, if I did not find it you will be double paid. Though I don't want to assume your intension, you clearly did not do your due diligence. 3. I called you, sent an email, reactivate the email three times, send message on booking.com, no response at all. You only reply me until I left the comment on booking.com. To ensure full transparency and fairness, I edit this comment to add this update. I will keep it and keep the rating. I believe it would be helpful to other vistors.
