Sportchalet Mürren

Breakfast was good. As an American, it took a moment to build an appetite for it since offerings did not resemble American buffet. But it was all good in the end.

Bed was terrible, bathroom lacked proper soap. No shampoo provided. You get what you pay for with this hotel.

Good location, easy to find, brand new kitchen and bathroom.

There were no hand towels, only shower towels. No air conditioning. Small windows, no fly net so flies moving around. No slippers. No shower gel or shampoo. Place was so empty that I was surprised to see two pieces of nespresso hanging around the kitchen. The worst part: I booked a king bed room. The frame was for king bed but there were two single (twin) mattresses. Since the frame was flat wood, the mattress didn’t stay stable but kept moving as you move. So if you’re planning a romantic trip with your partner, good luck on this bed. I called the hotel number mentioned on booking about these issues since there was no one present around 18-19; the person on the phone told me there’s supposed to be a king size mattress and shower gel and shampoo and the rest. I said yes thank you there is supposed to be but there isn’t. He said they’ll provide soon. I said thanks and went for dinner. When we were back, one shower gel and two more bath towels were brought, thanks. However, the bed was the same, so no king bed. I was on a motorcycle trip with my Gf and we stayed in 5 different places. This was the worst experience so far.

The location was right in the center of town. It had a very good breakfast. Lots of sports activities available

Very basic, no shampoo or soap, no safe, no refrigerator, no tv. We had 5 twin beds

Très bel emplacement. Mürren est un lieu magnifique offrant une vue imprenable. Le Sport chalet bénéficie aussi d'un bel emplacement dans le village. C'est d'ailleurs son seul atout !

L'hôtel est vétuste sans charme. L'équipement est d'un autre temps, seul le wifi, bien que lent, est "moderne".
