"Queit stop along the way for the great Valais valley, close to Aeltsch Glacier"

Hotel tucked away at a now defunct railway station, so it has a slightly "off the beaten track" feel - which for me was positive. The view from the room was great, and there were few formalities. Breakfast (by which I always judge a place) was simple but excellent. (I recommend Margrit's Birchermüseli)

The hotel has a feel of "incompleteness" about it, the restaurant was closed. So this is not a charm from the outside, but great on the inside

"Too expensive for what it is"

The fridge in the corridor with reasonably priced drinks is great.

It does feel like a room in some's house. "Eco" shower not pleasant and shower door not closing properly. Decoration not to my taste (bird logo everywhere - unnecessary...) Just too expensive for what it is. The day before i was in a wonderful hotel that was cheaper.
