Clean room, very good breakfast. Just opposite the train station. Appenzell town center is very small, easy to walk around.

Self-check in process was very easy. The staff were exceptionally friendly and welcoming. Our shared bathroom was right next to our room, very clean, and only shared with 2 other rooms. The breakfast was excellent and the location was quiet but very convenient to the train station and the center of town.
