Nice location, large room.

No air conditioner, mainly functions as a cafe rather than a hotel.

Room was lovely, comfortable and also spacious. A great spot for a number of days in Zurich. Staff at Cafe below were friendly, responsive and welcoming.

There was not much to not like; suitcases vs the stairs perhaps, but we were for warned about that.

Everything was great. There is a little deferred maintenance that’s needed, but nothing to complain about at all!

Being from New York City, where we're used to having everything at our fingertips, we were thoroughly impressed by the location of Montmartre Bistro and Hotel in Old Town Zurich. The proximity to all the major attractions by foot was simply spectacular. Whether it was a leisurely stroll to the historic sites or a quick walk to the nearby shops and restaurants, everything was incredibly convenient. The accommodations were beyond quaint and comfortable, providing a perfect blend of charm and modern amenities. The room was cozy and beautifully decorated, making our stay feel like a true escape from the hustle and bustle. What truly made our experience unforgettable was the staff. They were so personable and caring, always ready with a warm smile and helpful advice. A special thank you goes out to Afoamia (sp), who went the extra mile to help us find a cookie stamp for my mother. It’s these small acts of kindness that make a trip memorable, and we’re so grateful for the thoughtful assistance. Thank you for a wonderful stay. We can’t wait to return! Stephanie and Varun

Very charming little hotel with fantastic bistro on the ground floor. The room was larger than expected. The staff was just wonderfull and very service minded ! The location is just perfect !

No elevator available but a rather steep stair to haul luggage from the lobby/ground floor.

Comfortable room and bed. It had a portable air conditioner, which was very welcome, as it would have been hot otherwise. Charming area, right in the middle of old Zurich, operated by the cafe downstairs. All if the staff were helpful and nice to us. Clean and tidy.

No negatives for us. Room access is by steep, narrow steps, so travelers with balance or mobility issues would need to be quite careful.

We loved how quaint the property was! It is just two rooms above a lovely little restaurant. The room itself had everything we needed and the bed was very comfortable. The staff was SO friendly and helpful. Would 100% stay again in the future.
