Everything was fabulous, and we would highly recommend your hotel. We were able to keep our luggage at the Bistro. The location was excellent, with everything within walking distance, including the train station. The bed was so comfy! What we loved the most though was the wonderful staff and delicious meals in the cozy and hip bistro. Thank you Nora, Yolanda, and Barenice...you all made our stay and experience so fun and comfortable. -- The Morgans

It was just a place I stayed briefly due to traveling between countries, but everything about it was terrible. The staff were unfriendly, the stairs were steep, and the interior was dim—just the worst. Even after I checked out, they harassed me for days over a payment issue, blamed my perfectly fine card, and it turned out the problem was with their payment terminal. Even nearly a month after checkout, they’re still causing me stress over the payment. It was the worst and most unpleasant accommodation I’ve ever experienced in Europe.

The room has no air conditioning as stated but no fans either and no screens in the windows.

It’s very cute and spacious and well lit. It doesn’t feel like a hotel, more homely.

There are three available rooms, we had Maurice. It's was very clean, neat and tidy. It had lots of character in the multiple floors. Downside for us, being older, lots of stairs, some of the super small, which made lugging luggage challenging. Luckily the young man in the cafe helped us get it up to the flat. Cafe downstairs in top notch, fabulous food and wine and generally classy atmosphere. Location was excellent, the only downside to the location was it's proximity to St Peter's and St Peter's bells, which chime every 15 minutes (day and night) and toll the hour, every hour, day and night. It's both lovely and awful to hears the bells (awful at night when trying to sleep 🤪).

The location of the hotel is excellent, right in the heart of Zurich old town and a short walk, even with cumbersome luggage, from the Rathaus tram stop. Perfect spot for a city break. Great welcome and food at the bistro downstairs.

We didn’t receive final key pick up information prior to arrival. Luckily, the bistro was open when we arrived but it would’ve been better to have known in advance (as was advised) of final arrangements as this is not a ‘conventional hotel’. The air conditioner is a welcome addition for summer cooling, but is very noisy.
