Hotel-Restaurant-Schifflände

The breakfast was nice, continental. The location is quiet and a couple of miles away from the nearest town. The scenery is spectacular. Our room over looked Lake Hallwilersee which was truly spectacular. We got upgraded to a 1 bedroom apartment with a balcony both on the first floor and upstairs over looking the lake. The upstairs balcony has a jacuzzi bath . Very peaceful and quiet.

There were no English speaking channels on the TV, small but important. We were staying for 3 nights & housekeeping seemed to forget we were there (maybe because of the upgrade) we mentioned this on the 2nd day and were told they would send somebody. Nobody came. It wasn't a big deal but, we can make our own bed but the milk for the coffee etc needed replaced.

Incredible location, right on the lake , fantastic view, decent dinner, the waitress was very kind and helpful, breakfast excellent and choice of wine incredible

the location is perfect for travelling in summer with children in particular, you can appreciate the beautiful scene while enjoying the wonderful foods, the nice people like the nice lake will abosutely let you love there.
