Great location just off the beach, with fenced off parking. Staff was super friendly and very hospitable. Great affordable option for somewhere to lay your head.

No hot water, which I can understand and see it not being an issue for most.. I do like a hot shower to clean off the filth of an exciting day on the water. Breakfast didn't seem to be early enough for people leaving to fish.

The breakfast was 5-star! The chef is a very kind lady who prepared the meal quickly. I received more food than I expected and it was delicious- none of it was sitting in a heated tray, but was freshly cooked for me. I can't compliment the manager and his son enough. They took care of my registration, parking and special requests. My expectations were exceeded. They were both exceptionally kind and friendly and I hope to visit this hotel again one day. This property is excellent. Is it a luxury hotel? No, but guests aren't paying a luxury hotel rate. My room had exactly what I needed and expected. The nightly rate was actually a bit less than I expected to pay. While I was unable to use it during this stay, there is a nice pool for guests. Hopefully on my next visit, I'll be able to take advantage of it. As with the pool, I was unable to visit the beautiful Jaco beach. However, on my next visit, I hope to have time for that, especially since it is just a very, very short walk from the hotel.

Close to the water, staff were very friendly and breakfast was a traditional taco breakfast.

The area that it is in was sketchy. We did not feel comfortable going out at night. Lots of people just hanging around, sitting on the curbs. Lots of construction as well.
