Very nice lady at the reception, very nice rooms, nice restaurant and pool. Pick a room 'high up' and away from traffic. Cheers.

beds uncomfortable and squeaky/noisy.The location and whole town of Nosara are off road. reception is closed after 8pm so if you needed anything out of hours you can’t get help. For $395/night you’d expect better.

On site restaurant is fantastic and the property / landscaping is beautiful.

The staff at Hotel Guiones made my trip feel like home away from home. I stayed here solo but never felt lonely there. Alina in reception is amazing, from being so helpful making bookings for me before I even arrived, to greeting me with the warmest welcome when I arrived, to ensuring I had breakfast to take with me when I was leaving, she is gold! Jorge was a gem too, so kind and willing to help where he could. So friendly and even when I needed to change bookings it was never an issue. Thank you both! 🙏 Emmanuel is the restaurant was wonderful and so kind to help and encourage me with my Spanish learning. I’ve travelled around the world a lot but never have I met people that were so open, kind and welcoming. They truly made my stay so special! The location of this property is great, easy stroll to the beach, to all parts of town and just a short Tuk Tuk to La Luna (which I highly recommend for dining!) My room was beautiful and just as pictured, it was so clean, and airy. The coffee in the room was delicious! And there were really special moments of sitting in the hammock on my balcony watching the Iguana play or seeing the moon rise. Magic!

Not much to say that I didn’t like. As someone who doesn’t eat meat, I did find the menu a bit limited.

Loved this place. The hotel grounds and rooms are so cool. It's pretty expensive, but my wife and I both agreed that it was worth it. It's a little outside the "happenin" neighborhoods in Nosara, but it's a short walk to get to the hotel -- and even quicker by bicycle or motorbike (we rented motorbikes while we were there). The restaurant was great, the pool was great. We saw ton of howler monkeys in the trees while we were there. All-around a great spot if you're looking for a vacation retreat. FYI I think this place is called "Hotel Guiones" now.

Staff was nice, helpful and available

Breakfast, only 1 portion, limited coffee and orange juice. Expecting more for a 200/300usd hotel per night.

Absolutely beautiful and lush hotel. You really feel like you are in the jungle. We saw many birds, an armadillo, iguanas and even some monkeys in the hotel garden. A beautiful place if you wanna stay in Guiones. I think it's probably the lushest hotel in Guiones. A short walk to the big beach, or you can use the bycicle that are offered for free. Beautiful pool area, big room with comfortable beds. We had a super quiet room (nr 7.). The staff was super helpful and did organize all our trips and transports. We really fell in love with this hotel, it's a boutique style hotel, very cozy and clean. Within walking distance to shops and restaurants. If you wanna explore the area, you would need a tuktuk driver or rent som quads. We were there in the rainy season and we loved it because there were only few tourists and everything was super green!

I think some rooms can be a bit noisy, because they are right next to the main road. It's a bit pricey, but that's just how the Nosara area is.

Best hotel, best team reception and so clean. Restaurant is also very nice. Try the tuna burger
