Hotel Último Paraíso

Carlos and Nela are wonderful hosts. They treated us like old friends, helped us buy tickets online for Patagonia NP, and gave us great tips about places to eat and explore. Particularly appreciated them leaving a thermos of hot coffee and a hearty breakfast for us in our room the evening before we left early in the morning to climb a glacier.

Friendly and welcoming. Comfortable bed. Excellent breakfast.

Felt a bit dark and enclosed

The lady was very nice, although did not speak any English and had only outdated contact info for the local restaurants

Small very dark room with the only window looking at the other rooms. Insufficient parking. Water in the shower either scalding hot or cold, mixer not working. Overall fine for a basic B&B if we paid 3 times less, but for the price we paid I would expect way better.

A very special place to stay, the number one reason being the owners, who are friendly, helpful and wonderfully knowledgeable. The breakfast was superb (so much food!), the room extremely comfortable, and from start to finish, we had a superb stay.We would love to come back and spend longer.

Exceptional hosts, Carlos and Nela provided fantastic regional knowledge. Their help and support made our Chilean experience the best. Excellent breakfasts, attractive and upscale rooms. Loved bamboo ceiling. Beautiful rose garden.

Rustic. Cute. The hosts are AMAZING, such good vibes. Full of recommendations and just great, positive energy! Spent a few nights with my mom there and we absolutely loved our stay. Great breakfast too! Thank you so much, Nela and Carlos

Maybe the wooden heating ... something I would have to get used to

Rooms are large and extremely comfortable. Carlos and Nela are wonderfully helpful (thank you for telling us about the Maqui Waterfall at Guardal - it is spectacular!). Carlos lit the stove for us so the room was warm when we got back from dinner. It’s a really great location for exploring Park Patagonia. Breakfast is substantial! Highly recommended.

Not a complaint about the hotel just a note to say that you might want to bring pesos for payment as the hotel can’t adjust to remove the tax if payment is made by card.

We were travelling in motorbikes and needed to change our plans. Fortunately they had a room for us. It was wonderful to arrive to one of the kindest and warmest welcomes we have had in South America. The room was lovely, beautiful bathroom and comfortable bed with lovely linen. Fire set ready to start. It was my husbands birthday and they had made homemade chocolates and a card in our room, and recommended a restaurant to celebrate. We felt welcome and cared for. What a lovely couple.

This place is heaven. The owners are some of the best humans you'll ever meet. The rooms are incredibly comfortable, warm, clean and beautiful. The bathrooms are perfect, beds and cosy. A fireplace in each room prelit for your arrival to keep you warm too. The breakfast is incredible and their dog is super sweet and friendly. The owners helped us after a travel day of stress. Providing not just solutions but support. They truly go above and beyond. Meeting people like this makes travelling all the more worthwhile and we will be forever grateful to them both. There's no better option in Cochrane and throughout traveling to over 35 countries this was by far one of the best places we've ever stayed. Thank you again Carlos and Nela.
