Selva Armonia Immersive Jungle Resort

Everything about this place is well thought. The decoration, the location, the yoga deck and the swimming pool are amazing. We really enjoyed our stay.

it’s a bit far from the city but this is also not so bad because you have access to a quiet place with a beautiful view.

This was a gorgeous place to stay! I loved the location of the resort up in the jungle overlooking the ocean. The sunsets were amazing and the nets by the pool were an excellent place to watch them. There were beautiful plants and flowers everywhere, birds calling and zipping around, and the resort was beautifully designed. Driving down to town early in the morning I saw 5 blue morpho butterflies, and the resort offers walking tours to learn about the plants and the animals that can be found on the property.

I did not like the location/layout of the rooms with the shared bathrooms. My room was on the side of the restaurant, where at 6 am they start laying out the coffee and breakfast things against my wall and the restaurant stays open into the night. Since the windows are screens so that you can enjoy the sounds of the jungle, I felt like I had no privacy. There also was insufficient lighting in the room, barely ambiance lighting, and I had to use my headlamp to find things in my suitcase. My dominant windows look out into the restaurant, so to open the curtains for more light exposes me to everyone at the restaurant. Then, to get to the bathrooms, I had to walk through the restaurant and a common sitting area to get to the stairs that go down to the bathrooms. This did not particularly bother me, but if you were a modest person, it could be frustrating as there was no place to keep dry clothes while you are showing, so I was walking all through the property in just my towel. The bottom floor rooms seem to be a better location because they are next to the bathrooms and below the restaurant for a bit more privacy.

I loved the views and how beautiful the gardens are. We only spent one night as we were making our way to Manuel Antonio National Park. I truly wished we had more time to enjoy the amazing place.

Really secluded with a great view of the Marino Ballena park. The swimming pool area and hot tub were lovely. We stayed in one of the bungalows which was really nice and spacious, and loved the outdoor shower! The staff was really welcoming and kind.

Food and drinks were a bit overpriced ($15-20 for a main dish and $8 for a smoothie), and since the hotel is quite remote and at the end of a tricky road you wouldn't necessarily go out to eat elsewhere.

excellent facilities and epic views of the whales tail and coast line. perfect for watching the sunset. Friendly staff always happy to help. The room/beds were comfortable. Restaurant food was delicious, breakfast included but limited option.

The room was quite small and a little noisy as we backed onto the restaurant. No aircon but does have a ceiling fan, still quite hot at night though.

What a beautiful place with amazing views! We really enjoyed staying here and were sad it was only for a day. The staff was really friendly, a beautiful setting, great facilities, delicious food and really nice yoga classes. Would highly recommend as they have options if you're on a budget or want to splash out a bit more on your room.

The road to the place was very very bad. If you don't have a 4x4 don't attempt to drive down yourself!

Everything about this place is so well thought out! The view from the pool, yoga studio, hot tub, and hanging nets is spectacular! Some events put on by the resort are included in the price. Highly recommend the yoga (especially the sunset one)!

There is nothing to dislike! People have been commenting on the road there, but we had a small Suzuki Celerio (automatic) and it performed just fine! A little bumpy, but just take it slow 🦥. Staff will pick you up if you choose to stop at the bamboo gates (200m from resort). Only required if you don't have the confidence that your car can make it as it becomes quite steep.
