Hotel Bouda Jana

Nejvíce se nám líbila lokalita hotelu – samota daleko od civilizace, úžasné výhledy a dobrá docházková vzdálenost od Sněžky. Výborné snídaně a večeře, milý a ochotný personál. I přes deštivé počasí jsme si pobyt opravdu užili.

Jediné mínus za nás byla posilovna, která není v nejlepším stavu a nachází se ve sklepní místnosti – na tom by chtělo zapracovat.

We chose this hotel for its proximity to Snezka (about 7km), and it's not far from Velka Upa bus stop either. This was important, as we don't have a car. The room and beds were comfortable, the interactions with the staff were pleasant, and the meals and breakfast were alright.

The gym and games (mini football, ping-pong table) are set up in tiny rooms in a basement with very little appeal. But it doesn't bother so much that it's ugly and cramped, the real problem is the bad air quality. I wouldn't want to spend a minute there, let alone exercise or play games. The sauna is tiny, as it fits two people only sitting side by side, and has been placed in a tiny room as well, leaving little room to change before or after, and without access to showers or WC. The hotel would be much better if it improved on these things, because it's, frankly, subpar from what we've normally encountered in these kind of establishments.

Friendly and helpful staff. Delicious meals. Spacious room. Numerous ski slopes and tracks nearby. Cool at all!
