HERBARIUM boutique hotel

Extrem großes Zimmer mit Infrarotkabine und zwei Balkonen. Sehr freundliches, zuvorkommendes Personal. Perfekte Lage, um die Altstadt zu besichtigen. Köstliches Frühstück.

Neobyčejné květinové interiéry, velká pohodlná postel a velké okno do moderní zahrady, kde je ticho a klid. Při příchodu vonící zapálená svíčka Yankee Candle. Koupelna s prostorným sprchovým koutem a velmi dobrá snídaně. Vše perfektní – nejlepší hotel v Olomouci. Na náměstí večer pěšky jen 5–7 minut.

Overall this is a very nice boutique hotel. It is a bit off the main city center, but 10 min walk from it. The advantage is that it is really quiet. The disadvantage is that you would need to walk a bit uphill to go the main city and downhill to go back to the hotel. It is not that long, but with a suitcase it could be more challenging. The scenery is beautiful and each room is uniquely decorated with a particular herb/tree/aroma. The bed was very comfortable. You can request for the room to be service, but the default is not service (which I preferred). If you want it serviced, just let them know at breakfast. The breakfast is very delicious but not overly extravagant. You will find any thing you would want, and I appreciate how small the portions were so you can try as much as you want (e.g. deserts are cut up in bite size pieces etc.). They serve you a nice coffee and/or tea. I have stayed 7 different hotels in Olomouc over the past 5 years. Honestly, this one is in the top 2-3.

Honestly, not a whole lot. It would have been nice to have free water bottles in the room. I do not recall the typical espresso machine, but they had a water heater for tea (likely for instant coffee too, but considering the plethora of excellent cafes, I did not bother with instant coffee). I think the price was a bit steep for the area, but is one of the newer hotels in Olomouc (somewhat expected).

Everything and everyone was/were exceptional.

Nothing to dislike.
