Hotel Waldesruh

The environment outside the hotel is very nice.

There is wifi in my room, and the television does not work. The bathroom is too small.

Location convenient for Autobahn and in nice countryside.

Property felt tired and in need of significant refurbishment, as though its hey-day was 40 years ago. Bed was old and not particularly comfortable.

Lovely staff, great food and beer. Excellent room and facilities, thanks.

Quiet location. Very comfortable bed. Large room with bathroom. Tasty breakfast. Everything you need to have a good rest before further trip.

Very poor shower

This is a great hotel, revisiting from a year ago. We were able to relieve our travelling stress from larger cities to the quiet of a lovely inn. Dinner on the balcony was fabulous and the staff were very loving and attentive, especially the owner who gave us a hug on departure. Can enjoy a lovely walk into the forest. All the essentials for a lovely weekend to relax and breakfast was very good with ample choice.

This hotel is priced for budget travelers, and a water kettle and mini-fridge would push it into a real steal. There were patrons loud and laughing until 2AM in the morning. The hotel needs quiet hours and needs to reinforce them. Staff could be a little warmer and show the room.

The personnel is very kind - and that compensates a lot from the slightly shocking experience of the rooms. Don’t get me wrong, these are clean and their size is also OK, but the bathroom and the WC (you may feel) are located together in a “wardrobe”, and the floor creaks loudly.

Although protected by some trees, but due to the fact that it is located quite close to the highway, the place is rather noisy. Very old building, with rather modest interior, which - in my opinion - compared to other hotels, is simply too expensive.
