It is quiet and near the city center

All was perfect

Freising is simply beautiful, and there's a bus station really close to the place.

There was absolutely no one around or in the hotel when we arrived. We traveled from America, meaning we didn't have a local phone number or internet service, and the only way to communicate with the host was through a phone number. Fortunately after a while another guest came over and saved our lives by calling the host for us to get the keys.

Nice friendly hotel. We arrived after check in time but were able to phone and collect the key from a key safe. Room was upstairs and pleasant with ensuite bath and toilet. Everything was clean and tidy. Pleasant 10-15 stroll into the town centre which is lovely with plenty of bars, restaurants, shops.

If you wanted to use the showerhead in the bath, you had to sit down in the bath because of the sloping ceiling. And just a note if you think you might be late for check in - I recommend that you phone ahead rather than email. We did email the property before the day of arrival as we knew we would be arriving later in the evening but they did not respond - fortunately they did answer the telephone when we phoned at 10pm (when our flight landed) so there was no issue finding the key.

Good location with regards to distance to the airport and walking distance to the city centre. The restaurant had great local food offers.

Late check-in (after 16:00) and no possibility to meet someone there earlier even if I asked via phone call. Would have been enough to drop-off my luggage, but reservation is not staffed before 16:00. Check-out time if 10:00 was no problem for us as we had to catch a morning flight, but is still on the early side.
