An Schlaf war nicht zu denken! Die Gespräche aus den Nachbarzimmern war deutlich zu hören. Jeder Schritt, jedes öffnen von Türen und Gespräche auf der Etage waren im Zimmer deutlich zu hören

My Review of This Hotel – Unfortunately the Worst Hotel Experience I’ve Had I recently stayed at this hotel in Düsseldorf, and unfortunately it was the worst hotel experience I’ve ever had. To start with, there was no proper reception. The person who gave us our keys didn’t speak English, which made communication very difficult. There was no elevator, so we had to carry all our luggage up the stairs ourselves. She tried to help with one of our bags, but she accidentally dragged it against the stairs and the handle broke. The room was nothing like the photos online. It wasn’t very clean, the towels were old and worn out, and the bathroom was extremely small and uncomfortable. The room was also very cold. Every time we turned on the heater, the hotel staff switched it off while we were gone. Despite this, they never cleaned the room or changed the sheets or towels. They simply opened the windows and turned off the heating, so every evening when we came back, the room was freezing cold. I eventually got sick because of this. We didn’t receive any new shampoo, the hairdryer was completely useless, and we had to buy our own. There was no kettle, so we had to buy one as well. There was also no fridge in the room and of course no water for drink you must buy that as well. The lighting was very poor. The location was also disappointing. It was close to the metro, but the metro was unreliable and often extremely delayed, many times we had to wait around an hour. There were no shops or restaurants open nearby at night. The area around the hotel felt unsafe in the evenings because it was dark and poorly light, so we didn’t feel comfortable going outside. The hotel was also far from the central station, even when taking an Uber. The bed and pillows were uncomfortable, and overall nothing worked the way it should. To me, the hotel felt more like a hostel than an actual hotel. I really do not recommend this place.

I liked the location and the security of the accommodation as well as the solidity of the furniture. Cleanliness was good.

Second floor. Make sure you look at or ask for the age of the guest in order to provide 60+ guests with ground floor or 1st floor rooms. I was not much happy with the quality of the mattress. However, because of one night only, that was not a big issue.
