Hotel-Gasthof zur Sonne

Das Hotel liegt zentral in der Innenstadt, Parkplätze waren verfügbar ( möglicherweise wird es aber unter der Woche knapp mit den Plätzen). Das dazugehörige Restaurant hat eine schöne große Terrasse, da kann man einen schönen warmen Sommerabend wunderbar genießen. Unsere Bikes konnten wir in einer Fahrradgarage unterbringe, Lademöglichkeiten waren gegeben.

Frühstück war am Sonntag erst ab 8 Uhr möglich, das führte dazu dass sich der Raum dafür schnell füllte, und manche Gäste auf Plätze warten mussten. Unser Zimmer lag unter dem Dach, aufgrund der hohen Außentemperaturen war es sehr überheizt, der Lüfter konnte da auch nur geringfügig für Besserung sorgen.

Friendly and professional service. Modern, recently (re)build / renovated building / rooms. Diner at very nice terrace. Yummy food & vine. Decently calculated. Secure space for the bicycles. Would definitely return.

Lovely hotel with good restaurant. Clean and tidy.

The location is excellent (close the bike path, Friedwald, Wassertretanlage) and I could put my bike in a closed garage overnight, which also offered tools at self repair station, if necessary. The buffet breakfast was excellent!

A refrigerator in the room would be a comfortable addition.

Very dim light in the room. Bulbs too low wattage. No restaurant when I was there. Could not eat or drink anything and no possibility either. Had to drive to another town to get something to eat.

Modern and immaculate. Excellent restaurant.

As described they don't really have parking but in off season there is room for a couple of cars by the entrance otherwise street parking didn't seem to be a problem.
