Hotel Zur Eisenbahn

Very well located next to the station, it’s easy to get in with the pin provided at night. The staff was very friendly.

Great place, easy to find location, friendly staff and easy to reach online for pre-trip questions. There is an option to add breakfast to the accommodation. We arrived at the hotel before check in time and were greeted by super helpful staff. The place is very quiet and clean like the whole city in fact. The booking site only gave an option for joined beds, in a note when booking we wrote a request to be separated because we are not a couple, and when we arrived the room had two separate beds, instructions for heating/cooling and how everything works in English, internet password, coffee, tea, towels, soap...everything needed for a temporary stay. Large shops are 10 minutes away on foot. The train station is a 2-minute walk away, the area does not have heavy traffic because, as we have seen, most people use bicycles.

The place is great, I really recommend it, the only thing I would change is the bathroom doors. Don't get me wrong the bathrooms are impeccably clean and tidy I just think they should be more intimate in case the people staying are not that kind of partners.. at least the bottom half of the frosted glass should be a little more frosted :) As I said, everything is great with the hotel and when everything is great we don't get caught up in small things, so we agreed not to look in the direction of the bathroom while the other person is using it and we solved the problem simply, we keep in mind that visitors from other countries can be less shy than us :)
