Hotel am Bad

The location is good. It takes just 1 bus stop to come from the main railway station to the Hotel area. There was perfect cleanliness in the room. The room was cleaned each day and towels were always fresh. Classic german-like bread breakfast. Cheaper than most of the Tubingen hotels.

It is a relatively old hotel. No elevator to bring your belongings to the 2nd floor. Central heating worked strangely (only at night). I'd change the pillows to a denser ones. No 24-hour reception.

Great breakfast, very rich for savory and also sweet food. The hotel is in a beautiful location surrounded by nature, even though a bit far from the city center. The staff was very polite and available and the room was comfortable and had a cozy atmosphere. There was no noise so my sleep was serene. Loved the walk through the park during the day with squirrels and the river flowing right next to the path.

Just the distance from the center, but I hadn't checked the location beforehand so I can't really complain about that, another thing though was the night walk through the park as it was not illuminated at all. It was really scary to walk in the pitch black at night, especially since I am a girl traveling alone. I also had an unfortunate encounter with an insect in my bathroom, but since the hotel is in the middle of a big park it is normal to find insects, especially since I opened the windows.
