Hotel am Schloss - Frankfurt an der Oder

The neighborhood is very beautiful, I even walked across the road and Also the staff were very friendly

The room had no air conditioning. Also no elevators

Easy to find, we stayed one night only, so the facilities were good for us. Comfortable bed, enough space in the room, good shower.

No bottled water in the room. The mansard ceiling to close to the bed (our room was on the top floor), so you need to watch the head each time you're going to approach the bed.

The small hotel runned by Russian couple, so if you speak Russian you can easy communicate there. Bed was comfortable. We requested a quiet room (if available). At arrival owners told us that the hotel is almost empty and they prepared the quiet room for us. But later, when we was in the bed, it was very noisy behind our door: they gave the next door room to other guests. Why? In the empty hotel?! There wasn't tee/coffee /water facilities in the room. Blackout blinds was broken. In the bathroom: looks like previous Guest forgot shampoo and the owners decided left this old half empty bottle for the next Guest. And we noticed that previous Guest had long black hairs - you can see it on the shower walls... And the last bonus: behind our window was two farmyard (it's why there was so many flys in the room) . And in the morning you will be waked-up (in 5:50) by Cockrell songs. It was so loud and early. Breakfast with poor choice. Owner just looked through the kitchen door and then he disappeared - it was so unprofessional and non-welcoming for so little family running hotel.

From the moment the receptionist Maya greeted us we had a wonderful stay. Breakfast was always fresh and wonderful. We had dinner there twice and the food was excellent. Maya does all the cooking and she is a great chef. She also did our laundry for us which was greatly appreciated. Room was very nice and the bed was comfortable. Would definitely recommend this hotel. Maya and Vladimir take good care of their guests
