"We had a comfortable stay in a quiet hotel"

We were a bit late in getting to the property after being tied up in traffic and Kirsten waited for us so we could check in. The room had a fridge and there was a little kitchen area with a sink and a kettle. The room and bathroom were clean, the bed was comfortable and it was quiet and restful at night. The hotel is only about 20 minutes from Cologne. The Gamescom festival was on in Cologne from Aug. 20-24, 2025 and hotel rates in town were high. Zimmer for You was a very good alternative.

Breakfast would not be served unless enough guests requested it so we did not eat at the hotel. Instead, we found a very nice cafe, Backerai Cafe Kronchen, a short drive away in Rosrath, for breakfast. The wifi in our room was slow and unstable at times. But overall, we had a good stay.
