Hotel Johanneshof

Toller Saunabereich und gute Auswahl beim Frühstück. Auch die Teeecke ist super.

We had a wonderful time at the Johanneshof. The rooms are spacious and bright with lots of power plugs and a big wardrobe. WiFi and TV work well. You can even choose your preferred pillow. The breakfast is delicious. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. The two and a half saunas (60°, 90°, plus infrared) as well as the pool and the fresh water tubs are great for relaxing. The complementary water, tea and nuts / dried fruits are a very welcome addition. Every other day the hotel organises an activity for free (yoga, guided walks, etc). Parking is available behind the house and an EV charger is located on ground (Chargepoint, to be paid, currently 57c). Massages can be booked as well. The hotel doesn't have its own restaurant, but there are numerous great options in a 5 min driving radius or a 25 min walking distance. The complementary Oberstaufen plus card allows you to use public transport and ski lifts, visit museums, participate in activities, etc.

It's very hard to find anything that could still be improved. We enjoyed every detail very much. But if I would be nitpicking... A complementary bottle of water on the room would be one small thing. For the bathroom I would prefer a proper door over the sliding glass door and a better hair dryer. Finally, free charging would be the icing on the cake. ;)
