Hotel La Quinta - adults only

I loved everything. From the owner, who is exceptional friendly and welcoming to the Suite and the old house, which shows a very own charme. I really hope, coming back soon!

Expected so much more from the reviews. Found the room to be lacking- no toiletries, no big towel, no bath robe so a kettle may be too much to ask for. Wellness was not easy - water was not clearly available with no sign as how to to turn on. Only Sauna and IR on offer. Finally I also found breakfast to be a disaster asking what bread we like the day before and not providing it or needing to request standard items like butter/jam in a bizarre way. This place was a let down for me and certainly not worth the price. I found the hostess contrived and fake in her ways, for me her style was not true. The area is beautiful but I would look elsewhere next times.

simply put, this place is one of the most welcoming and charming houses i've ever had the great luck of being a guest. the fact that this place has just a very small amount of rooms in total besides being set on an incredibly amazing location gives you the actual feel like being welcomed in a lush and private secluded villa, even though its set almost in the middle of this little villages center. everything, and i really mean everything, about this hotel is top-notch. i do mean this from the very beginning of your stay until the last couple of minutes. the women who owns and runs this place is a true gem in hospitality. i hardly ever stayed at a hotel that was so much of positive surprises instead of always finding at least a little tiny thing to reconsider. if you should ever have the chance to stay around the area of the southern schwarzwald you should always consider to do some extra miles just to stay at this truly magic place. and guess what, i have just booked another stay here in less than a month as i just couldn't resist its unique comfort!

Don't make the mistake and think it's a La Quinta Inn, no, it just happens to have a similar name but does not belong to the chain. Its also not a typical Hotel. Its an old renovated Farmhouse with big tastefully decorated rooms with a spacious bathroom and shower. The bed was very comfortable. The breakfast a la Carte was of good quality and there was everything you could ask for. The place has no restaurant, but a 10 minutes walk downhills brings you to the center of the village where all the restaurants are located.

That was just the best hotel that I've been. The staff was amazing; super nice but also knowing their way of your own privacy. We eat in the city and was everything so nearby and everything so Good that we found amazing. The room was SUPERB!!!! Is big in its right way; it has a nice bathroom; and an AMAZING terrace with sofas and chairs. The breakfast is also super good. One good thing about this hotel is that you're treated as an unique guest, but still has your privacy kept with your family or other else you are. I highly recommend it if your wish is to spend a nice, quite and full of comfort days. It was, until now, my best days of my life!

It is a five star accommodation for the price of a four star hotel. High quality materials, super comfortable bed, beautiful and big bathroom. There is a nice small wellness in the basement where, which you can enjoy usually in privacy. You can have drink (even breakfast) in the nice garden with a beautiful view. A la carte breakfast will satisfy everyone. Perhaps the best breakfast we ever had in a hotel. The dinner there is highly recommended. Very nice wine selection will make your dinner even more enjoyable. And if you like a good schnaps as a digestive or "schlaftrunk", they even have a "schnaps karte" with high quality liqueurs from a great distillery. Last but not least, the host was GREAT. Thank you for having a really nice wedding anniversary at your place!

Fantastic host, peaceful & quiet location, room spotless and the breakfast great. Our host was very helpful and introduced us to the 'egg klacker'...... Nice gardens, safe parking, perfect for summer hiking and walking. Great driving roads.
