Location was beautiful. It's quiet out there. You really must eat at the Hotel restaurant as it is the only place available but dinner was excellent. Staff was very friendly, helpful and accommodating. Castle is gorgeous.

Bathroom setups were strange. Toilet in one room, sink and shower across room. Another room, bathroom was added (not unusual if very old property that didn't have bathrooms at one time) but the ceiling height in the entire bathroom was about 5'6", difficult for a 6' man to shower in.

This is a special place in a wonderful location. The buildings are of course the star but it is the staff that make it so enjoyable. Love coming back here year after year since about 1986. While I'm a business traveler, I notice many guests are locals form the area that know this gem.

I've missed the pool, but now have been told it is being rebuilt! Great.
