Mar Hotel

Easy Check-in: There are no keys, you get a 6-digit code for the front and room doors (but if you mistype 3 times you have to wait 1 minute). There is a place in the hallway where one could make tea coffee. Easy access and parking. Very little street noise.

Overall a “bare bones” setup (there is no place to relax in the rooms other than the bed). Floors are tiled and very cold (there are shoes / sandals provided). Minimum number of towels (no shower rug). Walls are thin, you can hear the neighbors. I was irritated by the dripping sound from the metal window boards during the night and had to sleep with ear plugs.

Es fehlt eine Kofferablage.

Der Vermieter war sehr nett und hilfsbereit. Es gab Kaffee, Tee und Mineralwasser für umsonst

Mar Hotel, Marburg After 18 hours of travel, I was greeted by the happiest welcome committee (aka the owner and his young son) and the quickest check-in process ever. The area is so peaceful it could double as a meditation retreat.

Nothing i can think of

Das Hotel liegt auf einer Anhöhe, ist etwas versteckt . Parkplatz ist vor der Tür, gute Busanbinding in die Stadt.
