"Hotel review"

The hotel in small nice village on the river Rein. It is a Family hotel, and team are very nice and friendly. welcome and treatment is very good. nice and clean room and nice breakfast. Very reasonable price, worth it.

"A very nice place if you speak German"

Stayed there on business. The rooms are clean but have no air conditioner. Wifi is great, never had any problems. Hardly ever anyone at reception and. Breakfast is great if you don't mind a limited menu. No one really speaks English at the hotel

"The Swiss Chef has done it again !"

Chef Bruno Straub and wife Kathleen moved from Die Alte Kapelle 2 years ago to take over Haus Bergblick. A small 10-room hotel in the middle of a residential area. Very standard rooms, with your usual satelite television (no minibar), but all that you really need is there. And decent size bathrooms. And because of the location, you have absolutely NO NOISE from street traffic. Based on his roots from Switzerland, but also from his years as a chef in some of the biggest hotels in Asia, Bruno Straub presents a wide range of specialities. As his wife Kathleen is from Singapore, a very hot curry original style is of course also on the menu. My personal favourite though is his Swiss Cheese-fondue. Enjoy it with a few Kirsch and you are in food heaven. Prices for both room and restaurant are very, very resonable. Enjoy as we did ! /Bent Hansen
