La Fustana

The location was very quiet which we enjoyed thoroughly. The hotel is very warm and inviting and feels like home.

Beautiful property in excellent condition, immaculately clean and wonderful surroundings. Ana, the owner lives on site, and is very friendly and helpful. If you like peace and nature, you will love this property.

Nothing to mention

The area is quiet in a small village and I was looking for that. It is nice that there is a small sitting space where you can relax if you don’t want to be in the room all the time.

The building could use some fresh paint Dogs can be heard barking quite often. The room itself is well isolated but there can be noise from the room into the breakfast room. We knew this in advance but there are very limited dining options. In this time of year, the nearby Besalu (wonderful little town!) has few restaurants open.

A lovely self-built wooden building, with some excellent self-built furniture. A shower so good I had to turn down the pressure; really comfortable large double bed. Lovely views outside the windows of the spacious and comfortable guests' common room. Great location for visiting Besalu, which is lovely, and the Garrotxa, an area of beautiful woods and dormant volcanic peaks. The restaurant literally over the road provided excellent food in a very friendly environment. Finally our hostess was very friendly and helpful without being intrusive. The heating is on a timer and not on all the time we were there. There wasn’t a restaurant open nearby.
