Ha Luo Hotel

The room was located on 21st floor with a fair view of the city except an empty building blocked a partial view from my room. The location was great, Kunming railway station is within 15 15-minute drive from the hotel.

There should be a reciption unit on the ground floor at the entrance. Some directions or notice boards written in English can be placed for a better understanding of international tourists.

The hotel is centrally located and can be reached very easily from Kunming airport by Metro. My room was on 17th floor and the view from my room was beautiful. The hotel staff is very friendly and helpful.

The room had projector used as a TV. And it was getting activated using Wechat. It may be difficult to someone who does not have wechat app on his mobile.

Location, as it was my first day of arrival in Kunming by late afternoon and I jus wanted to settle in before nightfall.

The counter service staff was very helpful but the language gap between us was tiring to overcome. Some basic maps, e.g. location of metro, location of night market, in relation to the hotel would have been very helpful.

Only the hotel position is good.

Dirty room with strong bad cigarettes smell even changed another room, still dirty toilet, a lot of mosquitos stayed at room due to no air conditioning so need to keep the window open. I checked many comments from overseas travellers mentioned before that the room is good, cleaning, etc etc. I stayed 3 nights but it seems no foreigners. Is the reviews true??

I loved the bed and the big Tv schermo.. Also I liked to have the washing machine inside the room.

I asked for a room at the 24th flor (the last one) and they said no without explanation.

The owner's daughters English is perfect. She was extremely helpful in recommending local food and instructing me to use metros and train and banks . Juni is the best.

Comfortable bed, big TV schermo, good position, nice stuff (even though they dont speak english), beautiful view. I recommend this place.

The should clean more under the surfaces.. they should include breakfast.
