"The hotel in Gallur matched the depressing reality of the town."

Not much.

The mattress was past its best. The walls were so thin I could hear every word from my neighbour on his phone AND from the person on the other end! Access to the parking area was via a rough gravel area which is not good for a motorbike. The hotel didn’t offer me access to the gated area to park my bike so I had to leave it in a vulnerable position. Overall I thought the hotel was below par.

Staff very friendly It is located in a beautiful Spanish village

The building is not sound proff So I didnt get alot of sleep.

"Acceptable lodging for an overnight bike trip"

I was traveling by bike and the staff allowed me to store my bike on the patio overnight which was very helpful for me. The room was warm and comfortable so it was worth the price in my opinion. I also ate at the restaurant and was happy with the food.
