Fowlers Hotel

Very friendly, good breakfast. Good advice for day-trips. Offered - without having been asked - to let us keep our room until mid afternoon on the day we left, because there was no new booking for the room on the same day.

The size of that hotel is absolutely sufficient for connoisseures of quit vacation. The location is quite nice and the owners Jennifer and Alex are very very gentle. The hotel furnishing conveys a really comfortable impression and let feel being always welcomed. Enjoying the breakfast at the terrasse gives every morning the holiday-feeling. Also the near to the city/to the beach is very good.

Indeed, the breakfast could be more elaborately. We've read other ratings regarding the not large breakfast to which were answered with hint to inability of preparing meals but any ideas would be welcomed. However, it is recommended rethinking that opinion. Since if improvement-proposals are welcomed it should be checked how deployable are those. E.g., preparing fried/scrambled eggs could be easily possible (my e-mail adressee is known and in case of interest how to do so - write me an e-mail ...). One thing (it is not the fault at the hotel!!!): the loud sound coming from one or more bars at the yacht-harpour near to the hotel which lasted until late night. WiFi doesn't really work. In some hotel-areas there's a working WiFi - connection in others aren't (but it's not most important!).

Quirky property in a lovely quiet spot. Very easy to go between different beaches and the town. Lovely views over the marina. Jennifer and the staff were friendly and extremely helpful. Breakfast was lovely, calm and with the views, very enjoyable.

Old school boutique Hotel that oozes character in the best part of Cala D'or. Alex and Jennifer were top hosts from the minute we arrived to when we left. Alex's cocktails (and stories) were brilliant (well the ones that we can remember)! Great room overlooking Cala Llonga (the Harbour in new money). We'll certainly be back.

The location of the property is excellent. Easy stroll to the beaches, marina and Cala d’Or centre. The owners are so friendly and accommodating.

There’s nothing not to like

What a great place to stay. The location over looks the marina and is in easy walking distance to the centre and beaches. Alex and Jennifer are absolutely amazing. They can’t do enough for you to make your stay enjoyable. Great cocktails and a good continental breakfast to start the day. We will definitely be staying again. Thanks to the hosts for making our holiday great.

We have always said, that we won’t travel to the same destination twice, and DEFINITELY not to the same hotel twice! But 11 years ago, we stumbled over this little pearl in charming Cala D’or. A family owned hotel with only 8 rooms. This is no fancy hotel. The rooms are beautiful and charming, and the atmosphere created by married couple who runs the palace is really relaxed. Today we are leaving Cala D’or and the “Fowlers hotel” for the sixth time. For us, this is a place we just have to go back to. Thanks for another lovely stay.

The staff go above and beyond. Jennifer was so informative and always available and willing to give advice on things to see/do. The view from the room was stunning and the rooms are clean and well kept. Breakfast was simple and lovely and the location is so good, one minute from the much less busy cala petita. Would 100% recommend this hotel
