New fittings and clean.

It was a very recent upgraded from a hostel the rooms need detailing e.g. no mirror, terrible strip lighting. Bathroom was unbelievably small

The ventilation system introduced smell of food at the room.

Restaurant opened late Kindness of people

Great location restaurant was good

Parking was not always easy

The room itself was very clean and had been modernised recently.

No breakfast included, not even a cup of tea/cofee. No tea/coffee making facilities in the room itself. Sweltering day -no complimentary bottle of chilled water or soft drink No desk in the room. No mini-fridge. No window blinds, just a curtain. Not enough to block out light from outside. No hairdryer. No safe. One tiny chair. One bedside cabinet (ditto). No luggage stool. En-suite shower room : tiny shower cubicle with concertina door (only really suitable for midgets), small W.C. Washbasin not inside but outside shower room. Neither convenient nor hygenic The room taken up by a huge bed, leaving hardly any space between bed and wall -almost impossible to access the window. I could just about manage by stepping sideways ( I´m not a large person at all). The sound proofing was non-existent. I could perfectly hear all guests, in or out their rooms- I ws kept awake by their conversation till 1.30 am Room 202 in need of smell proofing- it stank of cooking: fried bacon, chips etc, coming up from the cafeteria below Nobody at reception after 10 pm or at any point the following day Saturday, even though the hotel was fully booked. Condescending (male) receptionist at checking in; long queue; no info re.wifi, taxis, etc Check out at 10.30 a.m. the following day. I only found this out from a waitress Two (female) waitresses in caffdoubling up as pseudo receotionists even though rushed off their feet with cafeteria customers No safe place to leave luggage after checking out, I expected to leave it safe in a room which could be locked. No such room available, so, in the end, had to leave my luggage unattended just behind the unmanned reception desk for hours. while I was doing business in Alcañiz, which did worry me.
