Hotel San Rosendo

The location with parking is the only positive thing about this place, and I am NOT fussy.

BOOK AT YOUR OWN RISK! Well where to begin... We walk in, to check in. The receptionist speaks ZERO English. Not a problem, we can get by anyway, I don't mind. I show her my booking from booking.com. €69 for 3 people, 2 rooms. She doesn't accept this, is shouting at me in Spanish then finally flips through a log book on the counter, (even though there was a computer at reception???) And enters €84 in the card machine for me to pay. I say "no, €69" as this was on the booking confirmation. She refuses, yells at me more in Spanish and by this point my friends and I, tired from a whole day of traveling, decide to just pay and query this with Booking.com later... We get to the rooms. Musty smell, no one has stayed here for a year it seems. There was also no AC, in summer this was unbearable and meant me had to open the windows onto the street with traffic all day and night. The shower water ran BROWN for the first 5 minutes, as did the bathroom sink water. Disgusting! We only stayed as we were tired and didn't want to bother with another place at the last minute. Almost no sleep the whole night! Then, the icing on the cake. After the stay, I contact them and the property lies and says there's no way to refund me the difference as I don't have a Spanish bank account. A month later I am still back and forth with them. Not worth it!!! Stay somewhere else in San Rosendo. ANYWHERE BUT HERE! Consider this your warning.
