Alavera de los Baños

Super tolle Lage am Rande von Ronda. Man ist nach einem kurzen Fußmarsch bergauf in der Stadt. Das Hotel selbst liegt in einem wunderschönen, renovierten, ehemaligen landwirtschaftlichen Gebäude. Sehr ansprechende Inneneinrichtung und atemberaubend schöner Garten mit einem kleinen Pool. Wir hatten die Junior Suite und sehr viel Platz in einem super tollen Zimmer. Die anderen Zimmer sind wirklich eher klein. Also wir empfehlen wir die Junior Suite. Das Frühstück wird am Tisch serviert und ist sehr fein und absolut frisch und lecker. Wir haben uns außerordentlich wohl gefühlt insgesamt eine glatte Zehn!!!

Super Lage,sehr zentral. Wie es sich für ein Museum gehört leicht angestaubt aber wer schläft schon in einem Museum?! Die Führung sollte man sich nicht entgehen lassen. Toll ist der Pool im Garten für eine Erfrischung nach einem Tagrstripp. Eine Treppe ins Bett, wie königlich.

Der Duschvohang könnte mal ausgetauscht werden

We loved the location -- a 10-minute walk to city center (uphill but very doable if you don't have mobility issues). The hotel is in a quiet part of town right next to the Arab Baths (very much worth visiting!). It's a beautiful building - it felt like an Italian Villa and our room overlooked a paddock full of horses. I grew up with horses, so this was a wonderful bonus! They also have an "honor bar" in the lobby so you can have a glass of wine at night, put it on a "tab" and pay when you leave. We had wine and snacks one night on our terrace. It was lovely. The hotel staff are nice.

The beds aren't very comfy -- the mattresses are very hard and the bedding itself (pillows, especially) could be much better. The breakfast is served to you (it's not a buffet). We stayed four nights and did daytrips from Ronda and the breakfast was basically the same every morning (bread, cheese, meat, jam, coffee, juice). We got eggs one morning. We don't eat meat and we told them this, so they removed the meat from our breakfast, but they didn't provide anything in its place. The swimming pool looked pretty but there was a sign saying no swimming was allowed.

The hotel is so lovely & authentic Spanish, staff are very nice We had a room with a terrace, beautiful. We highly recommend you stay here. The garden & pool area is superb Breakfast is served to you, fresh & plentiful Honesty bar, where you can get your own beer, wine etc, as the staff finish at 9pm. Tea & coffee free all day. The old town is so pretty, lovely bars, cafe's etc, the scenery is wonderful.

The only thing I would say, as much as it isn't far from the old town, there is a very steep climb up to the old town, but the scenery on the way is stunning, so that helps, to take a breather.

De locatie... net buiten t centrum.uitkijk op de bergen. Prachtige tuin en voortreffelijk ontbijt.
