Sóller Center

Room was clean but had no view and was on the top floor with no elevator or assistance with bags. Cleaning staff was slow and missed my room one night because they didn’t get there until 4pm when I needed to get ready for dinner. Barged in on me anyway after repeatedly saying no to their knocking. Way overpriced for a hotel that does not care about you.

Staff was rude, unhelpful, and not welcoming. Parking is a nightmare. Only spot to park is on the main road about 15min from the property, despite saying they have private parking. If you want access to their lot, it’s an additional fee you must reserve separately and they probably won’t have a space for you. You don’t really want to be driving a rental car on the narrow streets of the town near there anyway, it’s super hazardous. Lots of different street parking and small lots in the area with different colors and different rules, called the front desk to ask for assistance and they said “just google it” (Google didn’t have the answers I was looking for while behind the wheel in a busy unfamiliar city) only to find out when I finally made it there to check in, that they had a printed document on the desk that answered my very question. Ended up having to waste money on paid parking too far away, and needed to move my car again when they simply could have explained the parking listed on the card right in front of them over the phone and saved me an hour+ of chaos. Not willing to help with recommendations in the area either. Overall, I get the impression that soller is a city they want people day tripping to, not staying in.

The location was great for me. One little road away from the delightful train station to Palma and also the sweet tram down to the Port. Train fare is €23 one way payable on train and tram is €10 one way. Both journeys take 45-60 mins Huge shower, hair dryer, mini fridge, very fluffy towels. Hand/body wash. Kettle. Air conditioning was locked but just asked at the El Guia hotel next door (which is where you check in) and it was unlocked and they sent iron & ironing board up also when requested. Room cleaned daily if required. Towels changed on request. No view but I wasn’t after a view - wanted a good central hotel that wasn’t a rip off. Plenty of cafes close by for breakfast or you could buy in pastries if keen. Suggest you bring your own tea bags if you like your cuppa and NO milk supplied so just bought some locally and kept in fridge. Overall, I would recommend this hotel.

Sadly I had a lot of stairs to climb. No lift. Not great as I have asthma!! 😳

We were really impressed by how clean and modern this space was, and the location was better than anything we could ask for. It is steps away from the train station connecting Soller and Palma, as well as the local town square.

Everything was great!

Very central location close to the town square. The accommodation was excellent as was as advertised. The room was clean and serviced evert day. The staff in the hotel were very helpful. I would certainly use this accommodation again on my next visit to Soller.
