Very nice hotel Friendly, helpful staff. Evening meal’s were not good

La chambre n'etait pas conforme à notre reservation : 2 lits separés. Nous avons du demenager deux fois en 3 jours.

honestly the building and furniture is a little run down and there some hints all over the place that this hotel is past it’s prime. BUT: that was the charm To me because I genuinely got the vibe of being in the last stage of the grand Budapest Hotel. The location is perfect and the staff is impeccable.

The breakfast is nice but nothing special.

The carpet in the foyer and staircase was new, honestly, well done!

Unfortunately, that's where the compliments end. The beds were a guaranteed ticket to back pain, the heating turned off at night (because who doesn’t enjoy a bit of winter camping indoors?), and the bathroom smelled like a mix of public toilet and damp basement thanks to the non-functioning ventilation. The breakfast? We gave up after the first try. Cleanliness seemed optional. And the ski locker – supposedly for three people – barely fit gear for two. Playing Tetris with ski boots and poles wasn't quite the après-ski experience we were hoping for.

J'ai été facturé deux taxes de séjour alors que j'étais seul. J'ai fait une demande de remboursement du trop payé auprès du siège de belambra car la direction de l'hôtel ne pouvait pas me rembourser directement.

petit déjeuner parfait et très copieux. Personnel très agréable et toujours prêt à rendre service . Positionnement de l'hôtel très pratique par rapport au départ des remontées mécaniques.

We went as a group of 8 friends for a week's ski holiday in March 2025. As with previous reviews the hotel is tired and outdated, but it's affordable, in a great location, and the rooms are clean. You're right in the middle of Val Claret so it's easy to get to ski lifts, restaurants and Aprés. The free shuttle bus stops immediately opposite the hotel so you can easily get to Le lac or other areas if needed with little trouble, and it comes every 20 minutes. The breakfast is basic, continental and buffet style. There was a selection of fresh breads, pastries, cheeses, hams, fruits, yoghurts and cereals (everything you would expect from a continental). It did the job well and it was good not to have to think about it every morning. The hotel does offer dinner, but we never went. The ski room is convenient, with a locker for each room which you can choose your own code. The exit of the ski room is equidistant to all the lifts. You are no more than 2-3 minutes away from any lift in Val Claret depending on how quickly you can walk in ski boots. I would definitely recommended this hotel for a group of people going on a trip, who aren't bothered about luxury but are prioritising proximity and convenience, and the opportunity to stay together in a big group. We had an issue with our original Air B&B and this hotel was the best option compared to other hotels' and chalets available at the time, and was very well priced for the dates we wanted. All in all, we were pleased with our stay.

- The sauna is only accessible from 2pm which doesn't work if you want to go straight to Aprés after skiing/ prefer to sauna in the morning. - The coffee at breakfast from the machine was terrible, and there were no other coffee options in the hotel.
