Friendly and helpful staff. Excellent dining experience with first class service

I loved the bed, it was large and comfortable, and the room was warm, although some heat probably escaped through the window door.

The room was old. The staff took a long time to find the remote control for the TV. The door to the balcony had a bad seal, and the wind howled through the door all night so, it was impossible to sleep. You had to enter a code on the door to get in the evening. We arrived at around 10 pm and could not open the door. It turned out that we had been given an old code and were not told that a new one had been emailed to us. There were no emergency contact numbers outside. Only thanks to our friends, who knew the owners through their friends, we were able to solve the problem after an hour, but we spent an hour in the rain. In my mind, the hotel, which is organised based on an old villa, needs to be renovated long ago.

Nothing not to like

Parking in grounds of residence, rooms were comfortable and spacious, short walk into town centre, good communication about access arrangements

Breakfast was poor, I would stay here again but I would go elsewhere for breakfast.
