Great location - central area and a 10 minute walk to the ski lifts. Rooms are snug, but clean and comfortable.

Although they don't stay at this hotel, time your trip to avoid the hordes of those on mid-term breaks from school/university if possible. The down side of being centrally located is that things tend to get a bit rowdy/noisy in the central area of Val D'Isere late night/early morning

"Great bed and breakfast with a brilliant Italian restaurant attached to the hotel"

Great location, comfortable beds and clean rooms

No lift meant lugging our suitcases up 3 floors.

"Over charged under delivered. Tiny rooms, poor breakfast!"

4.0

It was clean and the decor was nice. A nice ski room. Location was good. On arrival helpful tips and info regarding the resort was given.

Overall I feel over charged. The hotel really didn't deliver based on the money we paid. Rooms were the smallest twin rooms I have ever stayed in. There is no lift in the property. So lifting all your suitcases up the 3 flights of stairs was not ideal. The smell of sewage was very strong and apparent. The advertised bar was not open and was a dumping ground for what ever the hotel used it for. You could sit in the lounge upstairs and order a drink. (When they noticed you) All be it until evening guests came for the restaurant.and the spaces became minimal. Why not have the bar open???? Breakfast was awful, small and very little choice. Coffee machine served black coffee with cold milk. If you wanted hot milk you had to pay for coffee. It's advertised as 25 euros for breakfast. Honestly. Mini croissants (not even the nice proper ones) eggs in a egg timer that if you wanted to wait 12 to 15 minutes cooked eggs and some measly selection of others bits. Do your self a favour. Go get brekkie elsewhere. The hotel seems more concentrated on hosting evening guests to the restaurant from outside the hotel than being a hotel and hosting your guests paying extortionate rates. Run by a group of young staff none of which I would consider have the finesse and experience to be left running the hotel. When we checked in the room was not available until 4pm (as advertised) but then the luggage room was full so had to just leave luggage in the corridor as there was no space. I honestly feel the £350.00 a night we payed was no where near the value for money I was expecting. How hard is it to put a little more effort into breakfast and having a bar open. Then the rooms. Well.. maybe cute for a romantic get away. But in my opinion the rooms are not big enough to split the 2 tiny beds and have as a twin. We had to put suitcases on the balcony as simply no floor space for them. To top it off. We left a day early to go and stay somewhere else when checked out. Payment was taken.

"Well located hotel with excellent staff and limited facilities. Good restaurant on site is handy."

8.0

Staff were very friendly and helpful. Nice lounge area and facilities, warm and cosy but a little small overall. Good restaurant menu. Tea selections at breakfast excellent. It was a comfortable bed and space enough for cases and clothing. Bathroom functional and clean. Nothing luxurious here. Good TV and ski room.

Prices in Val d’isere are quite something. We paid over 400 euro per night for a double room. Compared to many other hotels the furnishings and environment were modern and the room spacious but overall the value for money in Val d’isere is questionable. Expensive average quality food and small older hotels. Many people do Airbnb and chalets as a result.
