"A restful lovely place to stay"

The hotel was steps from the cathedral. It was breathtaking to walk up the small drive, turn the corner and see the beautiful Chartres cathedral right in front of us. I also loved that the building is a 1000 year old monastery, is still used for church related events and has a chapel/prayer space with the Blessed Sacrament present. The view from our window was also amazing.

I liked everything about this property.

"Great location but..."

Location, breakfast, staff, cleanliness.

Basic accomodation. No tea/coffee making facility. Impossible to have window open and blind/curtain shut. Very difficult to find. Windy, one-way streets. Probable parking problem if you arrive late afternoon. Do not follow SatNav. Helpful advice and map to leave.
