Hotel 119

The location was good, walking distance to the centre of Darlington

When we stayed the hotel was being refurbished and the restaurant wasn't open. However the staff and the owner were very apologetic and the situation is obviously temporary. When all work has been completed im sure this will be fantastic.

Close to a car park and the town. A warm greeting and conversation.

I had a couple awake me at 12:05am as the approached there room next to mine. Very loud and then continued to bang door to room and bathroom. Then continued talking into the early hours. (Earplugs used.) the awoken by sounds of courtship at 5:40 am from the same couple in room17? Next evening same room one person entered the room and switched on the television which remained on and loud all through the night. Large hole in floor under carpet became annoying.

Wifi worked excellent, clean room. Helpful owner. Comfy bed working tv.

The toilet struggled to get in and out of it. The towel rail is in the way so if your over weight it is hard to get in and out of it. Lot os stairs for disabled people. No reception after 6pm but understandable just not helpful.

Staff were truly excellent.

Easy to access. Clean shared facilities.

Bed quite soft. Shared facilities quite small with little space to place clothing in the shower room
