Full English was very nice. Location was perfect.

Had to wait a little while to be taken to our table.

Stayed here before so know rooms and public areas are cosy and clean

Sometimes staff can be a little off hand. When the bar was closing in stead of a gentle reminder the bar was closing. We were told you have to leave now and go through the front door as I’ve locked the residents door. Bear in mind we had just finished our drinks which had been cleared and we were just talking and we were residents. The staff in the morning however were very friendly

Great location and breakfast was lovely and very friendly staff at breakfast. Good value for money.

The room was excellent and the bed gave me my best sleep of my whole trip. Staff were great, welcoming and helpful. There is real old charm.about the place, you are given a real key to access your room. The shower was great too, proper rain style shower. The location was excellent, right where you want to be to hike around Mam Tor.

Being right next to the road wasn't great, traffic zoomed past right outside my window. I had ear plugs. There was no cooling so in summer it might be rough. When the bathroom extractor runs it is loud even in the room next door.

Lovely big room with a very large modern bathroom. Bed was comfortable. Fantastic location for walking

The only slightly annoying thing was the wifi which was very intermittent. This was frustrating as the local area has very poor mobile signal so good wifi is really needed.
