Lovely staff, lovely big room

Brilliant central location, a gorgeous quaint little pub with extremely high standards of cleanliness. The bathroom was an unexpected highlight! The shower had great pressure and easy to control temperatures and the Hollywood lit mirror was heated to avoid steaming up! Absolutely brilliant!! The room was well furnished and had plugs everywhere you could possibly want them making my stay that little bit more enjoyable

The WiFi did not really work - however this was village wide and was likely due to location

Give your Housekeeping staff a bonus! The property was spotless! We loved everything here; the property was well maintained and tastefully decorated and it has a lovely beer garden. The staff were all helpful and friendly from every department. The room was spacious, the bed comfortable and a lovely bathroom.

Just on our first night which was a Sunday, the music which also was on outside speakers remained on until 11pm ish. We had wanted an early night because we had a big hike planned for the next morning. It might be a weekend thing or an oversight because it didn’t happen the following evening, but it would be better if the music is at least turned down towards the end of opening hours.
