The location, the food & drinks menu, good size car park,

Breakfast was at best,was Luke warm or cold, my poached eggs on the second morning,were cold & very watery 😔, come on, Foxglove Inn, you know you're better,

Property was clean , however no heating in the room had to ask for the central heating to be put on.

Location was excellent with great parking. You have to check in at the bar. This was fine although we waited ages to be seen, and after a long day traveling just wanted to go to our room. Our room was clean and tidy and a good size. The toiletries are really nice, in fact I have these at home so was a welcome surprise as you don’t normally get decent toiletries in other hotels. Didn’t eat at the pub so cannot comment on the food, we had a drink in there and it was all good.

To access the rooms you have a key fob to use on the outer door, the door then slams shut after you enter. We stayed on the ground floor next to the entrance, so at night you just heard the door banging, which was very annoying. I would suggest the manager stays in room 10 especially over the weekend to experience this.

Upstairs Rooms very dark, we were going to family party at nearby golf club,, lighting quite dull not easy to apply makeup and full length mirror was in the dark ! pillows very uncomfortable very soft and were different sizes, did not get a great nights sleep. We booked 3 rooms in total in 1 room the curtain track on 1 side was hanging down so not easy to draw the curtain.

Great location , room was spacious and clean.

We requested a downstairs and/or accessible room due to my husbands disability, that wasn’t taken into account and unfortunately we were given an upstairs room with no swap available. It hadn’t even been noted despite me messaging and advising twice beforehand. A bit disappointed
