I didn’t have breakfast. Location was why I chose the place- it suited me. I only met one staff person. He was very pleasant and carried my bag up to my room.

The property was advertised as Bellgate house hotel but it was a b and b. Not what I was expecting. I’m not sure if it was just unfortunate but my first night there were a lot of people running up and down the stairs- right beside my room, and laughing and talking very loudly until about midnight. The next night was not quite as bad. The fridge was balanced on a strange table and was very unstable. I could feel all the springs in the mattress.

In an area with things to do

The room should of been a single not a double. Couldn't swing. Cat around

arrived fairly late and left fairly early. Comfortable stay

getting old, 3 flights of stairs to get to top floor takes longer than it used to, not a problem yet though
