More like a 5* hotel ~ Fabulous decor & cleanliness ~ Great car parking ~ Wonderful welcome and help from Owner & staff with luggage and taxis for the evening. Superb food & drinks both dinner and breakfast ~ Lovely room and very comfortable ~ Couldn't fault it ~ Would definitely stay again.

All staff were very friendly and helpful. From checking in to checking out, and all the waitress in the bar as well

The room was a little on the small side, with no lots of room to move around the bed.

"Good value stay near Bridgend and the M4."

Comfortable bed, lots of hot water for shower or bath, decent sized towels. The staff are helpful. Decent breakfast cooked to order.

It’s a hotel and bar so can be noisy There are no staff on the premises at night . Maybe yoghurt and some fruit available for breakfast.

Lovely small hotel, very popular with the locals which is a good sign. Staff where so friendly especially our waitress. Food we had dinner was fabulous and plenty of it. I had to miss breakfast unfortunatly but quite happy to go back and stay here and see what it would be like if the evening meal is anything to go by it should be superb. The room was clean and the bed was extremely comfortable. Definitly stay here again and would highly recommend.

the tv signal was a bit dodgy but managed to run through channnels to get a better signal.

The room was aboustley beautiful, the bed was so comftable sleep was 10/10 the staff was amazing, helpful and very poilte amazing services and their breakfeast was amazing

We would highly recommend the Masons Arms. Every member of staff and Jason the owner were brilliant. Lovey Breakfast. Our Room was spotless. We will be staying there again. Hopefully trying the evening meal next time as the restaurant was closed on our visit.

"Lovely pub hotel with friendly staff, lovely room"

Really friendly atmosphere, great welcome from staff and nothing was too much hassle, breakfast bacon butty was lovely, only downfall was the WiFi signal other than that lovely place to stay

WiFi very poor and kept dropping out
