The Liverpool Arms Hotel

Restaurant was excellent, staff very good , rooms needed a upgrade, also conflicting information on when the Restaurant shuts, was told it would shut at 8 so rushed back for food only to find it was really busy and we only just got a table, this happend a few time of our stay, we stayed for 3 nights, all in the Restaurant wad excellent and the staff was good but I would not stay there again.

Fantastic restaurant, top staff, lovely old building with a spacious room, good breakfast, beautiful town.

The building is more than three hundred years old, so nothing is straight!

Hotel car parking limited in terms of space, had to park on seafront

Hotel was clean, staff were pleasant, car park was attached to the hotel, and therefore very convenient.

I have a disability and our room was on the top floor with only stair access. The heating could not be controlled from the room and on at least one occasion, my wife had to call reception and ask for heating to be put on. Bar prices were amounst the most expensive in the area. The breakfast was individually priced, so when I ordered ceral and a cooked breakfast it was not an inclusive price (most hotels I visit have contintental and cooked breakfast as standard).

Very friendly staff and very helpful. Food and beer was excellent.

Maybe a few chairs need replacing.

The upstairs is all a bit dated and needs some TLC. Shower had no pressure, you would need to run around to get wet..

The staff - those I met - were excellent. The breakfasts were pretty good.

The parking was a little problematic, The choice of ales on draught was relatively limited. The bar closed at 10 pm which was a little early.
