Ein ganz großes Lob an den unglaublich freundlichen und extrem hilfsbereiten Mitarbeiter am Empfang! Wenn wir eine Bitte hatten, wurde diese von ihm sofort umgesetzt bzw. uns alles Gewünschte zur Verfügung gestellt. Aktuell finden in der Unterkunft zwar Renovierungsarbeiten statt, aber die Lage ist gut: Die Unterkunft ist gut mit dem Bus zu erreichen – die Station liegt nur wenige Meter entfernt, und die Linie 26 fährt direkt ins Stadtzentrum. Auch ein Ausflug zum Strand von Portobello ist sehr zu empfehlen – dieser ist ebenfalls mit der Linie 26 oder bequem zu Fuß erreichbar.

Das Frühstück war für 5 Pfund leider sehr übersichtlich. Die Dusche war zwar sauber und neu, allerdings kam nur sehr wenig Wasser. Für den verlangten Preis hätte ich insgesamt eine bessere Ausstattung der Zimmer erwartet.

For a continental breakfast it was adequate. Good coffee, eggs and croissants. Poor choice of fruit

I booked my room 3 months ago and requested a quiet room. The room I was initially shown to was tiny, and over a very busy road. The windows were single glazed. After complaining about this, I was moved to a much quieter room at the back which was far superior. Unfortunately the shower was broken. On the first morning I had about 5 minutes of hot water from it but on the following morning, none.

Tony has been excellent with his service! Super kind and helpful. I was travelling by myself . Felt home. The property owner was really kind.

The room was very clean. The hotel is right next to a bus stop for easy access to the rest of the city.

No complaints. I mostly got what I expected.

location was good for the course i was attending and not far to walk from the bus. the staff were friendly ,respectful and helpful . my room was o.k but i am glad i went for deluxe not sure i would have liked less than that . was described as a twin bed . it was a single bed , but it was comfortable . the décor had been spruced up but there were quite a few 'tired' areas in the room . but it did have all i needed , my own shower room , with tea/coffee making area and a hairdryer

corners of the room had scraping marks and cracks , door lock had been replaced and was loose , looked like the door had been broken in beforehand , little off putting but actually felt safe once i was settled in . i got a free breakfast but just as well as it was continental and not able to cater for my diet which is restricted( even though i had informed them in advance ) , the pictures on the website look like its a restaurant but i don't think it was up and running when i was there . maybe had just been taken over by new owners ?
