Homely hotel and has age to back that up.Food excellent, staff very friendly. Room was clean comfortable.

There was nothing I did not like but small touches to enhance the stay, a couple bottles of water in the room, or a couple of biscuits to go with the tea coffee. Sounds trivial but can make a good stay to an excellent stay. Would book again as very good value for money

The staff was really really friendly, the breakfast was nice and the restaurant is amazing. It is also very vegan friendly and even offers a vegan version of the classic scottish breakfast that was really nice. The room was also really nice and clean. And the bar that is connected to the hotel is a good place to spend the evening. 10/10 would recommend
