GBGBThe room was large, with a comfortable bed and I enjoyed three good nights' sleep during my stay. The property is located in a quiet side street with very little noise at night and I could not hear anything from the bar/restaurant on the ground floor. Although the property is self check-in the staff in the bar/restaurant were very friendly and helpful and I enjoyed a good meal there on my first evening. I would have no hesitation in staying here again. Although breakfast is not available at the property there are plenty of options a short walk away on Southsea.
The rooms are accessed via an external metal staircase so a little care is needed when carrying suitcases.
GBReally good location, easy to find, place was clean, Main issue relates to the temperature the heaters were all of the time with the windows open and fan switched on, on arrival. Without any means of turning the heating off it was difficult to sleep in the heat/ noise outdoors and fan Otherwise it would’ve been a really pleasant stay,
GBGBGBGood location - very quiet back away from the sea front. Really pretty street. Size of room and shower bed all great.
The only thing was the heating was on full blast and it wasn’t cold, so I had to have the fan and the window open. You can’t control the thermostat yourself. The heating went off about midnight and came back on about 6am.

The stairs going up to the room there are trads you can put on them also the shower head was to high up
GBLovely spacious room with comfortable sofa and tea and coffee facilities appreciated. Good location from which to explore Portsmouth.
Room was a bit warm. Opening the window midweek was fine. No noise.

No hot water from shower on arrival. Parking is difficult and costly!
