Old New Inn, Llanfyllin

The owners and bar staff were lovely. Had a really good chat with them in the evening. The evening meal as well as breakfast were both excellent. Very tasty.

The room was warm and comfy. The whole building could do with a facelift. Very dated and in need of up-dating. However the food and geniality of the staff make up for it.

The location was convenient for our trip. Staff friendly and excellent breakfast.

Friendly family run Inn, quiet place so great if you’re after a relaxing getaway. The food was really good, I’d go back just for that. The staff was friendly and helpful. Even with the downsides, I’ll consider staying again.

Not an issue for me personally, but finding out on arrival that toilet and shower are in separate rooms might put some people off. Also, there were hairs in the dressing gown and bed, which could make me wonder if they had been washed/changed.

The room had no facilities. Toilet was over a hallway. The shared shower room (not detailed in booking.com info) was on the floor below and was dirty and a disgrace. No bed side light. Pubic Baird in the bed and a dirty grubby carpet. Everything smelt awful.

Friendly, good atmosphere, great location.

Could do with a lick of paint and generally updating.
